Sets out procedures for the selection of glass type, thickness, area, and span to comply with wind loading requirements and human impact considerations for framed and unframed glass assemblies. Provides design graphs and tables relating area, span, and design wind pressure to thickness of glass of all types. Includes simplified procedures for determination of design wind pressures on windows in buildings not greater than 15 m in height. Specifies glazing requirements for various combinations of doors, side panels, shop fronts, partitions, and perimeter panels to cover the most commonly met human impact safety requirements. Specifies requirements for unframed toughened glass assemblies and fin design to prevent buckling. Refers to glazing materials and rebate dimensions.
