The objective of this TECHnote is to assist road owners to determine when and where to apply the most appropriate sprayed preservation surfacing to obtain the maximum benefit to their sealed road network. A proactive Road Asset Management strategy utilises the full range of surfacing and pavement preservation treatment options to assist road managers maximise the number of road segments treated annually whilst simultaneously improving the condition of their road network within existing budget constraints.
