Amendment to AS/NZS 3500.1:2021.

Specifies requirements for distribution, location and installation of fire hose reels.

Specifies common plumbing and drainage terms and associated definitions used in areas of the plumbing and drainage sector including product manufacturing specifications, design and installation standards (such as the AS/NZS 3500 series) and regulatory documents.

Provides information and guidelines on the selection, performance and installation of metal roofing and wall cladding.

Specifies the requirements for damp-proof course and flashing materials of the sheet membrane, strip and collar type for use in building construction.

Specifies basic requirements for the bracing, connection and installation of nailplated timber roof trusses. Requirements are given for supporting structures, roof truss installation, roof bracing, truss connection and overhangs.

SA HB 39:2015 is amended as follows.

Sets out a consistent and reliable approach to the design and installation of external waterproofing membrane systems.

Outlines minimum requirements for the testing and maintenance of testable backflow prevention devices in the field.
