AS 4055:2021 is amended as follows. The amendments should be inserted in the locations as instructed.

Amendment to AS/NZS 3500.1:2021.

Specifies requirements for distribution, location and installation of fire hose reels.

Sets out requirements and guidelines for the long term type testing, glazing, periodic manufacturing testing and other associated aspects to do with insulating glass units.

Sets out the quality requirements for cut sizes of flat, transparent, clear ordinary annealed, tinted heat-absorbing, patterned and wired glass for general glazing and/or further processing.

Specifies common plumbing and drainage terms and associated definitions used in areas of the plumbing and drainage sector including product manufacturing specifications, design and installation standards (such as the AS/NZS 3500 series) and regulatory documents.

Outlines minimum requirements for the testing and maintenance of testable backflow prevention devices in the field.

AS/NZS 3500.2:2021 is amended as follows.

Sets out procedures for the selection and installation of glass in buildings, subject to wind loading, human impact, and special applications. Glass strength is specified, based on the tensile stresses on the surface of the glass.
