Dangerous Goods

Sets out requirements and recommendations for the safe storage and handling of Class 4 dangerous goods as classified in the ADG Code, for Australia, and the HNSO Act, for New Zealand.

Provides practical guidance for those who have duties or obligations in relation to asbestos under the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 (OHS Act) or the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2017 (OHS Regulations).

The main purposes of this Act are: (a) to create a legislative framework to give effect to the objects of this Act; and (b) to repeal the Occupational Health and Safety Act 1985; and (c) to provide for matters of a transitional nature and make consequential amendments. (VIC legislation.)

This regulation may be cited as the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011. (QLD legislation.)

Provides practical guidance for those who have duties or obligations in relation to demolition sites under the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 (OHS Act) and Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2017 (OHS Regulations).

These Regulations come into operation on 31 July 2016. (VIC legislation.)

This Act may be cited as the Dangerous Goods Act 1985. (VIC legislation.)

Provides minimum acceptable safety requirements for installations where more than one class of dangerous goods is stored and handled, whether in packages or intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) of up to 1.6 m3 capacity.
